Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until a smooth dough forms.

6. Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a medium round tip.

7. Pipe the dough onto the prepared baking sheet in 4-inch long strips, leaving some space between each strip.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.

9. Remove from the oven and let the wafer tubes cool completely on a wire rack.

10. For the chocolate cream filling: In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer.

11. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

12. Let the chocolate cream cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a piping bag.

13. To assemble the Čokoládové Trubičky: Pair up the cooled wafer tubes according to size.

14. Pipe the chocolate cream into one end of each tube, filling it up almost to the top.

15. Gently press the matching wafer tube on top of the filled one to create a sandwich.

16. Dust the finished tubes with powdered sugar for a snowy effect.
