Chocolate Nonpareils Cookie

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.

6. Gently fold in the nonpareil sprinkles and dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough.

7. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, portion out the dough and roll into balls. Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

8. Flatten each dough ball slightly with the palm of your hand and press a few additional sprinkles on top for a decorative touch.

9. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until set around the edges but still slightly soft in the center.

10. Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

11. Once cooled, serve and enjoy these delicious Chocolate Nonpareils Cookies with a tall glass of cold milk or a hot cup of coffee.
