Christmas Marshmallow Squares

Instructions

1. In a large saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Stir frequently to ensure the butter melts evenly and does not burn.

2. Once the butter is melted, add the full package of mini marshmallows to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the marshmallows are completely melted and you have a smooth mixture.

3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Quickly add the crispy rice cereal to the marshmallow mixture. Stir well until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.

4. While the mixture is still warm, gently fold in the red and green mini marshmallows. These will add a pop of color and a festive touch to your squares.
