Salmon Bowl
In today's fast-paced world, it's important to have a few quick and nutritious recipes up your sleeve for those busy days when you need something satisfying and delicious. One of my favorite go-to dishes is the Salmon Bowl – a colorful and nourishing meal that can be easily customized to suit your taste preferences. Packed with protein, healthy fats, and plenty of veggies, this bowl is not only a feast for the eyes but also a treat for your taste buds. Let's get cooking!
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Place the salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and grated ginger. Pour this mixture over the salmon, making sure it is evenly coated.
-
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
-
While the salmon is baking, assemble the rest of your bowl. Divide the cooked quinoa into two bowls.
-
Arrange the sliced cucumber, grated carrot, sliced avocado, and edamame on top of the quinoa in an aesthetically pleasing way.
-
Once the salmon is done, flake it into large chunks and place it on top of the veggies in the bowls.
-
Drizzle any remaining sauce from the baking sheet over the salmon bowls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for an extra burst of flavor.
-
Serve your Salmon Bowls immediately and enjoy the fresh, vibrant flavors!
