Ingredients
Instructions
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine besan, sliced onions, grated potato, chopped spinach, cauliflower, green chili, ginger, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, and salt.
-
Gradually add a little water and mix well to form a thick batter. The consistency should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
-
Heat oil in a deep pan on medium heat for frying the pakodis.
-
Using a spoon, drop small portions of the batter into the hot oil. Fry in batches, but do not overcrowd the pan.
-
Fry the pakodis until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides. This should take about 4-5 minutes per batch.
-
Once done, remove the pakodis using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
-
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for a pop of color and added freshness.
